Finishing An Old, Incomplete Foundation Repair

The Challenge
An initial foundation inspection uncovered evidence of a previous foundation settling repair that had been left incomplete, leaving the home vulnerable to ongoing structural issues and potential water infiltration. This partial repair gave us an immediate concern for long-term damage.
Our Solution
Our foundation specialists conducted an evaluation of the previous repair work to identify all deficiencies, and finished the initial job. We applied a professional-grade slurry coat to the exterior of the stem wall, creating a seamless, waterproof barrier.
Results
By properly completing the previously unfinished settling repair and the addition of a new slurry coat, we successfully stabilized the foundation and prevented future water intrusion and structural deterioration. The home now benefits from the complete foundation solution it should have received initially from another contractor.
