Stabilizing a Home Addition and Adding a New Footing

The Challenge
During an assessment of Judith’s home, a structural engineer identified foundation issues affecting the home addition. The evaluation revealed that the addition lacked proper foundational support, requiring both a new footing and structural reinforcement.
Our Solution
Our team developed a solution involving both a new footing and Stabilipier additions. We excavated around the affected area, added a proper footing to distribute the structural load, and installed Stabilipiers for long-term support on the home addition.
Results
This foundation repair project successfully addressed all structural concerns with the home addition. The new footing provides proper load distribution while the Stabilipiers deliver long-term support and stability. Most importantly, this solution not only corrected the existing problems but also created a reinforced foundation system that will prevent future settlement issues.
